Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams paneer cottage cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup thick yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Skewers wooden or metal
  • Bell peppers onions, and tomatoes (optional, for skewering)

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, lemon juice, and salt.
  • Add the paneer cubes and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Thread the marinated paneer onto skewers, alternating with bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes if desired.
  • Grill the skewers until the paneer is charred and cooked through, turning occasionally.
  • Serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.
  • (You can also cook paneer tikka in an oven at 200°C for about 20-25 minutes.)
